Low FODMAP biscuits and cookies – gutfriendlygirl

Being on the low FODMAP diet doesn’t mean giving up on biscuits or cookies altogether.. Whether you like them to dunk in your tea or to crunch them on their own, there are plenty of low FODMAP biscuit and cookie options out there.


Against the grain cookies and crunchies

Against the grain chocolate and orange cookies: These cookies are not only gluten free, dairy free and egg free but they’re FODMAP friendly as well! They’re also vegan friendly. A serving size isn’t specified, so I’d recommend no more than one cookie.

Against the grain chocolate chip & hazelnut cookies: Not only are these biscuits gluten free, egg free and dairy free once again they’re FODMAP and vegan friendly too. According to ‘Fodmarket’ up to 3 biscuits is a ‘green serve’ – which is a very generous serve if you ask me!

Against the grain ginger crunchies: You guessed it, these crunchies are not only free from gluten, egg and dairy – they’re FODMAP friendly as well! A low FODMAP serving size isn’t specified so I’d recommend no more than one cookie.

Please be aware the above products are not ‘certified’ as low FODMAP.


Schar gluten free digestive biscuits

Digestives are a old time classic biscuit, and the good news is schars gluten free digestives are *certified* as being low FODMAP. Up to 2 biscuits are low FODMAP.

Lovemore shortbread

lovemore shortbread are free from gluten and milk and are also FODMAP friendly (uncertified but sold by stores selling low FODMAP products). A low FODMAP serving size is not specified so can only advise here, I’d recommend limiting to one shortbread.

Fodilicious Cookie buttons

Fodilicious cookie buttons are gluten free, dairy free, nut free AND low FODMAP at half a pack! (certified by ‘FODMAP friendly’)

Doves farm chocolate chip cookies

Doves farm chocolate chip cookies are free from gluten, milk, peanut, egg and soya AND they’re FODMAP friendly too (uncertified). As a low FODMAP serving size isn’t specified, I can only advise here and I’d recommend sticking to one cookie.

Asda free from stem ginger cookies

Asda free from 8 stem ginger cookies are not only free from gluten and milk, and vegan friendly but according to FoodMaestro are FODMAP friendly too (uncertified)! Once again, as a low FODMAP serving is not specified I can only advise – I’d recommend sticking to 1 cookie.

Nairn’s gluten free biscuit breaks Oats & stem ginger

The good news is according to FoodMaestro, Nairn’s gluten free biscuit breaks oats & stem ginger are FODMAP friendly (uncertified). The bad news is a low FODMAP serving size isn’t specified so I’ll have to advise again and recommend sticking to one biscuit!

Angelic gluten free double chocolate cookies

Angelic double chocolate cookies are vegan friendly and gluten, dairy and egg free too. According to FoodMaestro they are also FODMAP friendly (uncertified). Again, I can only advise due to a low FODMAP serving size not being specified – I’d recommend you stick to 1 cookie.
